What exactly is Keepli?
Keepli is your life companion — one calm app that runs everything keeping your life going (health, family, money, home and records) and guides you through the big personal changes you're working on (sobriety, weight, fertility, a new baby, and more). Think of it as the calm layer above all the single-purpose apps, connecting what they each do alone.
Is my data private?
Yes. Keepli is local-first: your core data lives on your device, sensitive items sit behind Face ID, and your cloud backup is encrypted with your own passphrase before it ever leaves your device — so we can't read it (AES-256-GCM). Sync, AI and sharing are opt-in — we never sell your data or use it for advertising, and the Gmail subscription scan stores nothing on our servers after it runs.
Do I have to use the cloud?
No. Your core data lives on your device; cloud backup and household sharing are optional, and encrypted with your passphrase before they ever leave your device.
What's included for free?
One of each, free forever: 1 library item, 1 subscription, 1 program, 1 goal, plus 1 password and 1 secure note behind Face ID, a basic calendar and streak tracking. It's enough to see how Keepli works. AI is not included — Melo, document scanning and insights are all part of Premium.
Does the free plan include any AI?
No. Ask Keepli (Melo), AI document scanning, program and health insights and goal reports are Premium features — there's no free allowance and no trial messages on the free plan. AI is the one part of Keepli that costs real money to run, so it sits behind the subscription rather than being rationed.
Can my family share a space?
Yes — the Household Hub gives your family a shared map, calendar, chat, expense ledger and chores board, alongside your own private vault. Creating a household needs a subscription: Family includes up to 4 seats for the people you invite, while individual Premium households ask every member to bring their own Premium. Anyone can join a household they're invited to, including on the free plan.
What is Ask Keepli (and who's Melo)?
Ask Keepli is the built-in Premium assistant, and Melo is its friendly face. It answers from your connected life data to help you understand your patterns and plan what's next.
Where does Ask Keepli's AI run?
When you use AI features, your question and only the minimum context needed to answer are sent to our AI providers — OpenAI and Anthropic — to generate the reply. Your content is never used to train their models, and AI is always opt-in.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are billed through the App Store or Google Play, so you cancel in your store account settings — not in Keepli. Every plan is charged up front and renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you keep Premium until the period you've already paid for runs out.
