Delete Your Account

1. Delete From the App

1. Open Keepli and go to Settings.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account, the last row. It is there whenever you are signed in.
3. Type DELETE, then tap Delete account.
4. If you haven't signed in recently, Keepli asks you to confirm it's you first: enter your password, or continue with Apple or Google.

If it can't finish, the app tells you why and offers Email us to finish, which opens a deletion request addressed to us; we complete it for you.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery window and no way for us to restore the account afterwards, so export anything you want to keep first, in Settings → Backup & data (see section 3).

2. What Gets Deleted

Everything tied to your account is removed from our servers in a single operation:

• Your profile, sign-in credentials and sessions on every device
• Household membership, shared documents, messages, moments and calendar entries you own
• Care records about you — your medications, dose history, vitals and the record itself
• Location history, saved places and SOS history
• Program, goal, challenge and achievement data
• Community profile, posts and comments
• Encrypted cloud backups and stored attachments

Content that belongs to a household you were part of — shared lists, recipes, chores, the household's own records — stays with that household; if you were its last member, the household is deleted too, with its records and files. A care plan you set up for someone else stays with them and their care team, and what you added to it stays without your name on it. Community groups you created stay up without your name on them. If a stored file cannot be removed on the first pass, we retry automatically until it is gone.

On the device itself, the app then clears local storage, cancels scheduled notifications, rotates the device identity and deletes cached attachments.

We also keep nightly backups of our database, so the service can be recovered after a failure. Any copy of your account in them is deleted when those backups expire, within 30 days.

3. What You Can Keep

Any export you made before deleting stays yours — it's a portable archive on your device or in your own storage, and deleting your account does not touch it. In Settings → Backup & data:

• Export to a file saves what is on your phone. It is not encrypted, so keep it somewhere safe. Your passwords are not readable in it.
• Export passwords (encrypted) saves your passwords and secure notes in a password-protected file that Apple Passwords, 1Password or Bitwarden can import.
• Export my account data saves what our servers hold for your account, as one file. Do this before deleting: afterwards there is nothing left to export.

An active subscription is billed by the app store and is not cancelled by deleting your Keepli account. Cancel it separately — on iPhone/iPad via Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or on Android via the Google Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions.

4. If You Can't Sign In

If you've lost access to your account and can't complete the in-app steps, email support@keepli.app from the address associated with the account and we'll verify and delete it for you.
